Job Description:
Forest of Wisdom English Academy is thrilled to offer a unique chance for dedicated educators who are passionate about teaching a subject-based curriculum and motivating their students to reach their full potential.
We provide an enriching and rewarding curriculum, along with a supportive team environment. The position entails teaching elementary school students from 1st to 6th grade with a focus on subjects like Science, Social Studies, History, Composition Writing, and Grammar.
Applicants should have a minimum of 2 years of teaching experience with elementary school students, preferably in a Taiwanese buxiban. Energy, passion, and adaptability are essential qualities for this role.
The permanent teaching hours are Monday to Friday between 2:00 and 7:40, totaling at least 21 hours per week. The class sizes are small, with a maximum of 12 students per class.
We are located near HaiShan MRT (Blue Line) in TuCheng, New Taipei City, close to various amenities such as Carrefour, B&Q, gyms, major bus routes, and more.
The starting salary, depending on experience and ability, is $700 per hour or higher, with monthly bonuses available for meeting lesson planning and student work marking standards. Full-time teachers can earn up to $4800 in bonuses. Exceptional applicants may be considered for a higher salary.
To be eligible, applicants must be native English speakers holding a passport from Canada, America, the UK, New Zealand, or Australia, and possess a bachelor's degree in any discipline or an associate degree combined with TEFL or TESOL certification. All necessary documents for visa and work permit, including a criminal background check, are required.
