The Australian International School of Bangkok is in search of an experienced IT Support Officer to be part of the Information Technology Systems Support and digital technology services team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing and maintaining the school’s LAN, network, computers, and various IT hardware.
- Performing IT support tasks within the school.
- Procuring IT equipment for school operations.
- Developing and overseeing the IT asset management system.
- Creating detailed reports and technical documentation.
- Handling additional tasks as needed to support the school’s IT requirements.
Candidate Profile:
- Holds a Bachelor’s degree or higher in IT, computer science, or a related field.
- Aged between 25-40 years.
- Has a minimum of 3 years of experience in IT support and computer systems.
- Proficient in installing and troubleshooting MS Windows, O365, and various applications.
- Skilled in networking (LAN, WiFi), Antivirus, Mail Clients, and hardware maintenance.
- Strong grasp of network infrastructure and hardware.
- Capable of designing, testing, and inspecting data communication systems.
- Excellent MS Office skills for document preparation.
- Possesses good interpersonal skills, is service-minded, polite, and effective in problem-solving.
- Enthusiastic about learning new tasks, resolving issues, and identifying problems.
- Responsible and efficient in task prioritization.
Desirable Qualities:
- Experience with iSAMs or similar integrated school management systems is a plus.
- Experience or training in managing CISCO network, HUAWAI network, or related systems (e.g., CCNA/CCDA certificate or similar) will be advantageous.
- Proficiency in speaking, reading, writing, and responding to emails in English.
