Curtain Up Drama and Magic Co., LTD, located in Bangkok, is a creative organization focused on inspiring young people through the performing arts. We offer engaging drama and musical theatre programs in schools, our studio, and through community workshops. Our team also produces interactive performances and original productions for audiences of all ages.
We are currently seeking passionate and versatile Musical Theatre and Drama Teachers who can confidently teach in classrooms and perform on stage. Successful candidates will conduct regular classes and workshops, prepare students for performances, and participate as performers in our productions. This position is open to all nationalities, but candidates must possess a good level of English.
Key Responsibilities include teaching drama, acting, and/or musical theatre to students aged 4–18, delivering engaging lessons in schools and our studio, planning workshops and performance-based projects, directing students for end-of-term shows and events, performing in selected productions, collaborating with our creative team, and maintaining a positive learning environment. Communication with students, parents, and schools regarding progress and events is also essential.
Candidates must have a strong background in drama, acting, or musical theatre, with teaching experience preferred. Confident singing and movement abilities, experience working with children and young people, and excellent communication skills are required. Flexibility in working across various locations and schedules is necessary.
Desirable skills include experience in directing or choreography, ability to accompany on piano or guitar, and experience with devised theatre or interactive performance.
