Kajonkietsuksa School in Phuket, Thailand, is seeking an enthusiastic and qualified Primary 5 Science Homeroom Teacher to join our vibrant and supportive educational community. This full-time position is available immediately and must be filled no later than mid-September 2025.
Position Overview:
We are looking for candidates who are energetic, compassionate, resilient, and take the initiative. Applicants should be ready to make Phuket their home for at least 1-2 years and should maintain a mature attitude toward work with a growth mindset. Candidates must have a strong desire to teach children aged 7-10 with mixed second-language abilities. Experience in teaching science to young learners and a solid knowledge of the subject is essential.
Requirements:
- Native English speaker or from countries where English is the primary language.
- Accredited Bachelor's degree, preferably with a PGCE, Elementary level, Sciences, or a related field.
- Teaching experience with primary students is highly recommended.
- Must meet the university qualification requirement as per Thai Ministry of Education regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Teach core subjects for 18-20 periods per week.
- Prepare classroom and course materials/lesson plans.
- Manage examinations and invigilate.
- Handle administrative tasks such as grading assessments and preparing reports.
- Participate in extracurricular activities and school-assigned duties.
