Omega Prep in Bangkok is seeking a dedicated and analytical SAT English Tutor & Test Prep Specialist to join our team on a part-time, contract basis. Our ideal candidate is more than a tutor; they are an educational mentor capable of transforming complex reading and writing concepts into understandable strategies for students. You will work closely with students from top international and boarding schools to enhance their SAT performance, focusing on the Evidence-Based Reading and Writing sections.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct engaging one-on-one and small-group tutoring sessions.
- Lead discussions that explore complex literature, historical texts, and scientific passages.
- Provide real-time feedback on student writing and analytical tasks.
- Create and implement customized lesson plans and practice materials.
- Monitor and track student progress to ensure score improvements.
Candidate Requirements:
- Extensive knowledge of SAT Evidence-Based Reading and Writing.
- Exceptional editorial skills for critiquing written arguments.
- Minimum of 2 years of SAT English tutoring experience with documented score improvements.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher from a renowned university, preferably in English, Literature, or Education.
- Native English speaker from the USA, UK, Canada, Australia, or New Zealand.
- Residing in Bangkok, Thailand.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
