Job Description:
Come work with us at Ron English in Geomdan New City, Incheon, South Korea! We are looking for a new team member to join our second branch starting in June. As a co-owner and head teacher, I, Trevor, value experienced teachers who are passionate about teaching elementary-aged kids. Our school's philosophy is "Happy, Simple, English," and we aim to create a safe and comfortable learning environment for our students. We are a collaborative team of 7 Native English teachers, and we are looking to expand as our student numbers grow. We provide a prepared curriculum, allowing teachers to focus on lesson delivery and student progress. Our classes have a maximum of 8 students, and we emphasize fun and interactive teaching methods. The position offers a starting salary of 2.5 million KRW and up, depending on experience, along with benefits such as medical insurance, National Pension, severance payment, and a one-way flight home after completing a one-year contract. We also provide teacher housing or a housing allowance, along with paid time off and national holidays. Teachers work Monday to Friday from 1:00pm to 7:45pm, with teaching hours from 2:30pm to 7:30pm. You need to be from one of the following counties to teach English in South Korea: United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa. If you are not from one of those countries, you can still teach English in most other countries. This requirement is specific to South Korea and school's can only issue visa's to teachers from those listed countries.
