As a co-owner and head teacher, I, Trevor, value experienced teachers who are passionate about teaching elementary-aged kids. We provide a prepared curriculum, allowing teachers to focus on lesson delivery and student progress. Our classes have a maximum of 8 students, and we emphasize fun and interactive teaching methods. The position offers a starting salary of 2.5 million KRW and up, depending on experience, along with benefits such as medical insurance, National Pension, severance payment, and a one-way flight home after completing a one-year contract. We also provide teacher housing or a housing allowance, along with paid time off and national holidays. Teachers work Monday to Friday from 1:00pm to 7:45pm, with teaching hours from 2:30pm to 7:30pm. You need to be from one of the following counties to teach English in South Korea: United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa. If you are not from one of those countries, you can still teach English in most other countries. This requirement is specific to South Korea and school's can only issue visa's to teachers from those listed countries.
Due to the high number of applications the schools receive they may not be able to respond to every application. If you don't hear back from them within a week or so, it's best to move on to the next job.
