Mataneedol School is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Native English-speaking teacher to join our team as an English Homeroom Teacher for Grade 4. We are a reputable private school located in Khon Kaen, offering a full-time position with approximately 17 lessons per week. You will collaborate closely with a supportive Thai team.
Requirements:
- Native English speaker from the UK, US, Canada, New Zealand, or Australia.
- A minimum of a 4-year university degree (BA/BSc or higher) along with a TEFL certificate.
- At least 1 year of teaching experience.
- Possess a positive attitude, strong work ethic, patience, and excellent interpersonal skills.
- Be interested in personal growth and teamwork success.
- Ability to work effectively in a multicultural educational setting.
Responsibilities:
- Attend assembly from Monday to Friday.
- Participate in special ceremonies throughout the year.
- Prepare tests bi-annually.
- Organize an annual science project.
- Maintain classroom display boards with student work.
- Occasionally cover for absent teachers in other classes.
- Plan and prepare short performances.
- Develop weekly lesson plans and provide summaries of classroom activities.
- Working hours are Monday to Friday, 07:45 - 16:00.
