Job Description:
The INTERNATIONAL ACADEMY OF BUSINESS AND TECHNOLOGY located in Faber Imperial Tower (Annex to Sheraton Hotel) in Jalan Sultan Ismail in KLCC, is recruiting for immediate start. Due to rapid business expansion, we require more teacher to join us. We invite duly qualified native speaking English Language Teachers to join our English Department.
Teachers will be responsible to plan and teach assigned classes and programs offered which include Academic and General English, IELTS and PTE preparation classes and TESOL programs. We also offer English classes to children from the age of 5 onwards.
Essential Requirements
1) A native speaker of English Language (from UK, USA, Australia, NZ or Canada)
2) Holds a B.ED/BA/BSc. with a CELTA or other equivalent qualifications
3) Proven experience in teaching General English, IELTS, TOEFL or Cambridge courses
4) Ability to work in a culturally diverse environment, demonstrating cultural sensitivity to students or all ages, nationalities and background and to all stakeholders
5) Possess a positive and can-do attitude
6) Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Duties and Responsibilities
1) To teach IABT English programs to students
2) Prepare lessons plans and resources to supplement the Teaching resources
3) Engage and motivate students in classroom
4) Build a good relationship with students based on trust and respect
5) Conduct assessments and provide detailed feedback
6) Write and maintain daily lesson records
7) Accompany students on Learning Outings
