Job Description:

Mrs. Chang Institute is looking for full-time English teacher
in Songpa-gu, Seoul
starting from Mid December 2025

About Mrs. Chang Institute:
Since 1987, more than 37 years,
Mrs. Chang Institute has taught thousands of students in Songpa& Ganddong area of Seoul.

Continuing the original teaching curriculum, we do focus on students to get used to correct English sentences by practicing orally as a chunk in class and also in written by homework and in class practices.

In short we mostly focus on “English sentence composition.” These parts are mostly taken care by the well experienced Korean teachers.

And for ESL teachers, we are looking for a teacher who can conduct a reading section class such as run a class based on storybook (for young elementary school students) and fiction and non-fiction reading and discussing with the upper grade elementary school students.

We have a good reputation among teachers and parents, and many of our teachers have re-signed.

We have a well-developed curriculum, we offer a fair salary and benefit package, and we have several experienced staff on hand to train you and help you adjust to our program as well as life in Korea.

We are located in the south-east side of Seoul just next to Gangnam, this area has a lot of parks and is a residence area. We have nearby subway station, 3 min. walk, called Jangji, Line #8.

We also have various bus transportation available to get to campus.

Job Overview:
Monthly Salary: 2.3 ~ 2.6 million KRW (based on experience)
Working Hours: Monday,Wednesday, Friday (2pm-9pm) and Tuesday, Thursday (3pm-9pm)
(usually teach 6 hrs among this 8 hrs) (NO weekend classes)
Grades: ELE (Gr. 1~6), Middle school (Gr. 1~2)
Classroom Size: 5 ~ 9 students
Number of Positions: 1
Contract Duration: at least 12 months (or more)

Qualifications:
- Be a native English speaker who is foreigner
- Hold a valid passport from English spoken countries
- Hold a minimum bachelor degree from an accredited university from one of the English spoken countries
- Have a clean criminal record from your country
- Enthusiasm for teaching with an outgoing personality
- Willingness to cooperate and be a part of a growing team

Necessary Paperwork for an E-2 Visa Includes:
- 5 passport-sized photos
- Copy of your passport
- Nationwide criminal background check with an apostille
- Copy of your diploma with an apostille
