Job Description:
Cornell Bilingual School is seeking Native English Teachers for the 2024/2025 academic year. Located in the vibrant city of Taoyuan, our school offers a multi-level education program for kindergarten, elementary, and junior high school students.
Established over twenty-five years ago, Cornell Bilingual School boasts a modern campus with spacious classrooms equipped with interactive boards, projectors, and computers to enhance the teaching experience. The school is conveniently situated just a 10-minute drive from Taoyuan main station and a five-minute drive to Zhong Zheng Art District, making it an ideal and lively location.
We are currently looking for full-time elementary school teachers for grades 1-6 to teach language arts and science. The ideal candidates should be enthusiastic, energetic, and passionate about education.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00-16:40 with a half-day paid leave per week. Break time is from 11:30-13:00, resulting in a four-and-a-half-day work week.
- Maximum of 26 class periods per week, with each period lasting 40 minutes.
- Duties include teaching, lesson planning, material preparation, writing exams, quizzes, and participating in school activities as needed.
Benefits:
- Competitive salary: $65,000 (Base Salary) + $3,000 (Attendance Bonus) per month with yearly increments.

- Paid Public Holidays and winter/summer vacation days.
Qualifications:
1. Currently residing in Taiwan.
2. Native English speaker.
3. Bachelor’s degree or higher.
4. (Preferred) Valid teaching license/TESOL or TEFL certificates.
5. Minimum of 2 years teaching experience.
