Job Description:

Hello there! We are in search of a dynamic and engaging Native English play tutor for our imaginative 4-year-old daughter. The position is for a 6-week program, and we provide a fully scripted curriculum based on "The Creature Cases" theme. The goal is for our daughter to learn English naturally through interactive activities without the use of ESL methods.

About Our Daughter:

Our daughter is imaginative, empathetic, and loves activities like watching Netflix's The Creature Cases, working with Legos, and creating with clay. She is confident and enjoys expressing her creativity.

The Role & Schedule:

- Period: 6 Weeks (Starting April ~ until May 15th)

- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 5 days a week

- Time: 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM (2 hours/day, Total 10 hours/week)

- Location: Gumi-dong, Bundang (Near Muji-gae Village)

- Pay: Up to 800,000 KRW per week (Negotiable depending on experience)

The "Creature Cases" Program:

As the "Agent Partner," you will follow a detailed daily action script for 120 minutes of interactive play. Together, you and our daughter will solve animal mysteries, build Lego habitats, create clay creatures, and publish a mini-storybook weekly.

Who We Are Looking For:

We prefer candidates with International School teaching experience and a background in inquiry-based learning. We seek individuals with high energy, a love for role-playing, and the ability to facilitate rather than teach traditionally.

How to Apply:

If you are enthusiastic about becoming the best Detective Partner for our little agent, please send your resume and a brief introduction to: privatetutorformychild@gmail.com.

📌 You need to be from one of the following counties to teach English in South Korea: United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa. If you are not from one of those countries, you can still teach English in most other countries. This requirement is specific to South Korea and school's can only issue visa's to teachers from those listed countries.

⏳ Due to the high number of applications the schools receive they may not be able to respond to every application. If you don't hear back from them within a week or so, it's best to move on to the next job.

⚠️ When applying for jobs, you should NEVER have to pay to apply. You should also NEVER have to pay to buy anything which they then pay you back for later. NEVER PAY FOR ANYTHING! Also always verify you're actually talking to the company in the job post and not an imposter. Scams in TEFL are rampant, be careful!
