KOJEN English Centers in Taiwan are currently seeking enthusiastic and dedicated English teachers to join their team. Founded by Kenneth Hou in the 1980s, KOJEN has grown to become one of the most prestigious and trusted English institutes in Taiwan, with over 40 branches across the country.
In collaboration with English Language Services (ELS), KOJEN offers a wide range of courses for learners of all ages, from preschoolers to adults. The institute focuses on a student-centered approach, encouraging teachers to engage students in exploring language choices and piecing together meaning from linguistic input to enhance linguistic sensitivity.
To maintain the quality of teaching and learning, KOJEN has not been franchised. They provide competitive pay, training, teaching materials, work permit assistance, airport pick-up, accommodation, health insurance, and incremental raises based on teaching hours.
There are current openings in Taipei city, New Taipei city, and Kaohsiung city. Applicants must have a bachelor’s degree and commit to a minimum of one year. 📌 You need to be from one of the following counties to teach English in Taiwan: United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa. However, some schools may still hire teachers who already have a long-term visa. This requirement only applies to teaching English - schools can still hire you for subjects other than English.
