Job Title: IELTS Teacher
Location: Perma Global Language School, Chiang Mai
Job Description:
Perma Global Language School in Chiang Mai is looking for a dedicated IELTS teacher to prepare students for the IELTS Academic and/or General Training exams. The successful candidate will conduct high-quality lessons, assess student progress, and assist learners in achieving their desired band scores.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver IELTS preparation courses for Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking modules
- Tailor lesson plans to meet individual student learning requirements and proficiency levels
- Provide constructive feedback on writing and speaking tasks
- Administer regular assessments and mock exams to track student advancement
- Mentor students on effective test strategies and time management techniques
- Maintain student records and offer progress updates
- Stay abreast of the latest IELTS test formats and revisions
- Contribute to curriculum enhancements when necessary
Qualification Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, or a related field
- Minimum 1–2 years of proven experience in teaching IELTS
- Proficient in English language
- Familiarity with IELTS assessment criteria and exam structure
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- Adapt teaching methodologies to suit diverse learning styles
- Comfortable with both traditional and online teaching methods
Preferred Qualifications:
- CELTA, TEFL, TESOL, or equivalent certification
- Experience in teaching international students
- Familiarity with digital teaching tools and platforms
