One Hope International School, located in Mae Sai, Chiang Rai, is seeking an IT Specialist who is a Native English Speaker (NES) to join our faculty. The role involves providing IT support, teaching computer classes, and occasionally teaching English Language Learners (ELL). Our school follows the American Common Core Curriculum and is dedicated to offering a comprehensive educational experience.
Responsibilities include:
IT Support & Computer Teaching:
- Deliver IT support to staff, students, and parents using the school app.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues.
- Manage user accounts, Microsoft 365, and Apple devices.
- Maintain and set up ICT equipment such as laptops, printers, and interactive boards.
- Assist with IT projects and improvements in collaboration with the Head of IT.
- Teach computer classes to students, integrating technology into their learning experience.
ELL Teaching (as needed):
- Teach ELL classes and create engaging lesson plans.
- Assess student progress and offer language support.
Extracurricular Activities (ECA):
- Lead three ECA classes per week, tailored to school needs in areas such as coding, robotics, arts, or sports.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in IT or a related field.
- Experience in IT and teaching, preferably in ELL/ESL.
- Proficiency in Windows, MacOS, Microsoft 365, and Apple devices.
- Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
- Preference will be given to candidates from English-speaking countries.
