Job Description:
Yoder Bilingual Academy in Taoyuan is seeking native English teachers to join their team. Established in 2010, Yoder Bilingual Academy (YBA) is a prestigious private elementary and middle school located in Zhongli District.
YBA's affiliate, Yoder International Academy (YIA), holds American accreditation (Cognia) and is one of the few institutions in Taoyuan offering College Board products like the PSAT and AP exams.
As a leading private school in the region, the International Department boasts nearly 30 qualified faculty members from various countries.
The school is currently hiring for various positions, including High School Math, Middle & High School Science, Middle & High School English & Social Studies, and Elementary Teachers.
Roles involve teaching subjects such as language arts, math, and science, collaborating with colleagues to enhance the curriculum, and organizing events like the Halloween Festival and Christmas Show.
Applicants must have at least 3 years of teaching experience in the relevant subject, with a teaching credential/license or advanced degree being preferred. Candidates with an APRC or Marriage ARC are also encouraged to apply.
The position offers a full-time schedule from 8 am to 5 pm, Monday to Friday, with additional opportunities for after-school classes. The contract duration is 1 year with the possibility of renewal.
