Job Description:

The Demonstration School of Silpakorn University, located in Nakhon Pathom, Thailand, is inviting applications for a Native English Speaking Science Teacher for its English Program. The role involves teaching Science to students in Grades 1 through 6 within the elementary department.

This is a full-time position with a teaching schedule capped at 18 hours weekly. The position offers a monthly salary of 50,000 THB, with the job starting on 1 August 2026 or as soon as possible. The initial employment contract is for one year, with the possibility of extension based on performance and evaluation.

Candidates must be native English speakers and possess at least a bachelor’s degree. A degree in education is advantageous. Applicants should understand elementary student development and primary education principles. The school values teachers who build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues, and who exhibit flexibility, professionalism, and a positive attitude toward teamwork and school responsibilities. One to three years of teaching experience is beneficial.

Primary responsibilities include delivering up to 18 hours of Science and STEAM lessons weekly, supporting students during homeroom, break times, and lunch periods, maintaining a safe and organized school environment, monitoring and evaluating student progress, preparing course outlines, and participating in meetings, training sessions, and school activities.
