Job Description:

Mataneedol International School in Khon Kaen is currently looking for enthusiastic Native English-speaking teachers for the role of High School IGCSE Chemistry/Biology Teacher, starting in May 2026. This is a full-time position in our well-established private school. You will be teaching IGCSE Biology and Chemistry, collaborating with a team of experienced foreign and Thai teachers in a multicultural environment. The teaching workload is approximately 18 lessons per week, using the Oxford IGCSE curriculum.

The Biology curriculum includes:
- Cell structure, organization, and systems
- Photosynthesis, respiration, and bioenergetics
- Ecology and environmental interactions
- Inheritance, variation, and evolution
- Homeostasis and human health

The Chemistry curriculum includes:
- Atomic structure and the periodic table
- Bonding, structure, and properties of matter
- Chemical reactions and rates
- Quantitative and analytical chemistry
- Organic chemistry and energy changes

Requirements:
- Native English speaker from the UK, USA, Canada, Australia, or New Zealand
- Minimum 4-year degree in a relevant subject (BA/BSc or higher)
- TEFL certificate
- At least 1 year of teaching experience
- Enthusiastic, patient, and professional
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Willingness to grow professionally within a team

Responsibilities include:
- Attending daily morning assembly (Monday–Friday)
- Participating in school ceremonies and events
- Preparing assessments twice per academic year
- Organizing an annual science project
- Maintaining classroom display boards
- Providing occasional class cover
- Preparing weekly lesson plans and summaries
- Working hours are Monday–Friday, 07:45–16:00
