Online English Tutors Needed in Taiwan
Are you looking for remote work or seeking to add extra hours to your schedule? LRDG, originally from Canada with a branch in Taiwan, is looking for passionate English tutors to join our team. As a tutor, you will play a critical role in guiding adult learners, with all necessary materials provided by our system. For more information, visit LRDG Taiwan at: https://lrdgtaiwan.com/
Requirements:
- Must meet at least two of the following criteria:
1. TESOL/TEFL certification
2. Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (such as education, psychology, sociology, business, etc.)
3. Over 4 years of experience in English teaching/tutoring (experience with adult learners is preferred)
- Regular availability to teach on both weekday and weekend mornings in Taiwan time (e.g., between 8:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. GMT+8)
- Able to provide a minimum of 10 hours of teaching slots per week
- Proficient in using video conferencing software such as Teams, Google Meet, or Zoom
- Must have a personal computer equipped with a webcam and microphone
- Excellent communication skills
- Demonstrates dynamism, creativity, and adaptability to different learners
Bonus Qualifications:
- Intermediate proficiency in Mandarin (preferred but not necessary)
- Familiarity with Taiwanese culture
The onboarding date is set from the end of November to early December.
Note:

📌 You need to be from one of the following counties to teach English in Taiwan: United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa. However, some schools may still hire teachers who already have a long-term visa. This requirement only applies to teaching English - schools can still hire you for subjects other than English.
