Job Description:

We are seeking a passionate and qualified OSSD Physics, Math, and Chemistry Teacher to join our academic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, delivering, and assessing engaging lessons in accordance with the Ontario Secondary School curriculum

Key Responsibilities:
Deliver OSSD-approved curriculum in Physics, Mathematics (Advanced Functions, Calculus & Vectors), and Chemistry.

Design lesson plans, assessments, and learning activities that align with Ontario curriculum expectations.

Evaluate and provide timely feedback on students’ performance following OSSD assessment standards.

Prepare report cards using appropriate achievement charts and learning skills rubrics.

Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes academic excellence.

Utilize various teaching methodologies and technologies to enhance student engagement.

Communicate regularly with parents, students, and school administration.

Participate in professional development and school events as required.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Science, Mathematics, Education, or a related field.

Ontario Certified Teacher (OCT) designation or equivalent is preferred.

Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in a high school setting (OSSD or equivalent).

Strong knowledge of the Ontario Secondary School curriculum.

Experience with assessment and evaluation according to OSSD standards.
