Spartan Kids Thailand, a Singapore-based enrichment centre located at Sand Haus Mengjai in Bangkok, is seeking a part-time Mathematics Teacher. The centre provides English and Singapore Mathematics programmes designed to offer interactive, hands-on learning experiences that foster academic skills, confidence, and enthusiasm for learning.
Responsibilities include teaching the Singapore Mathematics curriculum to students aged 4 to 12, with an emphasis on promoting critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and emotional development. Experience in teaching Olympiad Mathematics is an advantage. Lessons should be engaging, incorporating games, music, art, and other interactive methods to maintain student motivation.
The role also involves maintaining a safe, organised classroom environment, working with colleagues on school events and projects, and regularly assessing student progress. Teachers are expected to use positive behaviour management techniques and collaborate effectively with parents and colleagues.
Candidates should possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, a creative and energetic teaching style, and effective classroom management abilities. A passion for working with young learners and the ability to build supportive relationships with parents and colleagues is essential.
