Job Description:

PBISS International School in Koh Samui, Surat Thani, is seeking a qualified and bilingual School Counsellor fluent in both Thai and English. This full-time role offers a salary starting from ฿55,000 per month. As a School Counsellor, you will play a crucial role in providing counselling and support to our international student body, aiming to enhance their emotional well-being, academic success, and personal development. You will work collaboratively with students, parents, faculty, and administration to foster a supportive and inclusive school environment.

Responsibilities include conducting individual and group counselling sessions, guiding students in course selection and career development, assisting with college applications, developing programs for cultural adaptation and stress management, supporting students with special educational needs, collaborating with teachers on academic and behavioural challenges, promoting conflict resolution, providing crisis intervention, maintaining confidential student records, and engaging with parents and the community.

Applicants should hold a degree or have experience in School Counselling, Counselling Psychology, or a related field, and possess relevant certification. Experience in an international school setting is preferred. The role requires excellent communication skills, cultural sensitivity, knowledge of counselling best practices, and proficiency in counselling software.
