Raffles American School is currently seeking dedicated and passionate English Teachers to join our Prep Academy for a one-month summer program starting in July.
Prep Academy is an intensive academic program designed to prepare students aged 8 to 16 for successful transition into international school environments, and also provide TOEFL/IELTS prep classes.
Responsibilities:
Deliver 4 hours high-quality, immersive lessons, plus student practice sessions from 8:30 am - 5 pm, Monday to Friday
Provide specialized instruction to effectively prepare students for international school entrance assessments.
Regularly assess student progress through formative and summative assessments aligned with international standards (CEFR).
Facilitate interactive, engaging classroom activities that promote critical thinking,
independent learning, and effective study habits.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or higher in Education, English Language, TESOL, or related fields.
Familiarity with Cambridge educational resources and frameworks.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to nurturing
students’ academic growth and personal development.
Teaching certification (e.g., CELTA, TESOL) preferred.
We have 3 time slots available:
First Session: July 7 - Aug 1
Second Session: July 14 – August 8
Third Session: July 21 – August 15
