This is Pine Tree Academy. We are located just on the outskirts of Seoul in Dasan New City. It is 20 minutes from Jamsil and ten minutes from Donong Station. Dasan station is your apartment location which will be 20 minutes to Jamsil,
We are a small Canadian owned English academy. We run an English kindergarten from 10:00 to 2:00 (one hour lunch break) and elementary classes from 2:30 to 6:00. Teaching time is about 25 hours a week plus a two hour hike.We hike every Friday with our kindy kids. After lunch on Fridays we have special activities like science or cooking. We also have yoga, chess, gabe classes. Its a fun kindergarten. All teachers are friendly.
We are looking for a full time teacher from March 1st. We would like an energetic teacher that loves kids. Teacher with kindy experience is prefered. Teacher should be from one of the seven English speaking countries. We prefer to hire someone in Korea but we will consider applicants from oversees if they have documents ready to go. We would like to conduct in-person interview in Korea. If abroad, we will interview on zoom.
Salary is 2.6-2.9 million per month depending on experience. Housing is provided along with normal perks. We have one week off in summer and one in winter. We also have a four day a week schedule.

You need to be from one of the following counties to teach English in South Korea: USA, Canada, UK, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa. If you are not from one of those countries, you can still teach English in most other countries. This requirement is specific to South Korea and school's can only issue visa's to teachers from those listed countries.
Due to the high number of applications the schools receive they may not be able to respond to every application. If you don't hear back from them within a week or so, it's best to move on to the next job.
When applying for jobs, you should NEVER have to pay to apply. You should also NEVER have to pay to buy anything which they then pay you back for later. NEVER PAY FOR ANYTHING! Also always verify you're actually talking to the company in the job post and not an imposter. Scams in TEFL are rampant, be careful!
