Trinity College London in Bangkok is seeking a Drama Examiner based in Thailand. This part-time role offers a pay of at least ฿678 per hour. As an independent, self-employed examiner, you will have the opportunity to assess digital exams globally and deliver face-to-face examinations across the region. Compensation is provided per exam and per day or week for in-person assessments. Participation in mandatory training and standardization activities is also compensated.
Examiners are expected to provide a minimum of 15 days’ availability throughout the academic year, particularly during peak periods. However, please note that while availability is required, work cannot be guaranteed.
Ideal candidates are inspiring individuals who demonstrate integrity, expertise, professionalism, and a passion for supporting performers. Suitable backgrounds include acting, directing, performance, voice or movement, drama teaching or facilitation, musical theatre, physical theatre, dance, devised work, playwriting, production, or creative leadership. Candidates must be adept at assessing performances, writing clear reports, and engaging with diverse candidates.
Essential qualities include native or fluent English skills (CEFR B2 or higher for non-native speakers), a strong understanding of dramatic literature, musicianship knowledge, expertise in a specialist area, excellent communication skills, digital proficiency, current police clearance, and a commitment to safeguarding. Independence, punctuality, and reliability are crucial.
