Job Description:

We are looking for English teacher for Mini English Program.

1 Position for Teaching English Subjects.

(Pronunciation, Communication, Grammatical Structures, Reading Abilities) for lower and upper secondary level (Matthayom 1-6) students of Mini English program (MEP program).

As we are the government school (public school), we have to follow the regulations by the Thai national education office strictly such as rate of remuneration, visa, documents, etc.

School : SINGSAMUT SCHOOL

Location : Sattahip, Chonburi (Very close to Pattaya, just only 30-minute drive or 25 kilometers and close to Utapao Airport with only 15 kilometers)

💪🏋️Teaching Hours 💪

Monday - Friday : 18-21 Teaching Hours / Week (4 - 5 hours a day)

💪🏋️Responsibilities 💪

- Working time : Scan in before 07.30 and scan out after 16.30.

- Teaching by the schedules

- Being on a Gate Duty (Once a week) in the morning and afternoon.

- Being the advisor

- Providing the monthly lesson plans and course outlines

- Checking homework

📋✍️Contract Length ✍️📋

(11-month contract) Start working on May 1, 2025 to March 31, 2026 which is potentially able to renew the 1-year contract for the upcoming academic year if your working performance meets the school evaluation.

💵 Salary 💵

- 35,000 - 40,000 per Month

* Salary depends on qualification (degree and experiences) which educational degree is advantage. *

** Salary would be increased at least 1,000 if the performance satisfies the excellent evaluation term. **

* School will support the document process for obtaining the Work Permit and Non-B Visa * * * No VISA, WORK PERMIT, and ACCOMMODATION PAYMENT * *

🔑📋 Qualifications 📋🔑

- Male or Female

- Currently living in Thailand

- Holding Bachelor, Master, or Higher Degree in Education (must have at least 15 education credits shown in transcript), or any relevant field.

- Having experiences in teaching (at least 1 year)

- Obtaining TESOL, TEFL, CELTA certificate(s) or relevant teaching training certificates (If your degree is not related to educational degree)

- Gathering all original required documents mentioned below for processing to obtain NON-B VISA and Work Permit along with Requesting to have the permission for Thai Teaching License (Temporary)

- Be able to provide the variety of teaching approaches and materials to promote the classroom for fun and enjoyable.

- Be able to make a lesson plans and course outlines

- Be able to participate the school or program activities and be free to be a coach for training students for the competitions

- Be able to work on Saturday and/or Sunday when is required (Only 1 or 2 week(s) per semester)

- Be able to continually develop or enhance teaching approaches or methods by attending the seminars twice a semester

- Age : 25 - 59 years old. Thai teacher council will not provide the teaching license to those who are over. Even though they will, they shall still be reluctant and ask the school several questions of what necessity to hire those who are over 60. I’ve appreciated
and experienced that there are so many passionate teachers who have been teaching excellently, but, in the certain case of having more applicants than only one person, we cannot negotiate the teacher council on how necessity we do have to hire those who are
over 60 as a teacher.
