Job Description:
MB English Academy, a foreign-owned English school in Seoul near Mokdong, is looking to hire a full-time English teacher for their Yangcheon-gu location. The ideal candidate should be enthusiastic, energetic, and able to build strong relationships with students while conducting engaging conversation-based classes in a supportive and enjoyable environment.
At MB English, we prioritize small class sizes to facilitate meaningful interaction, a supportive teaching team, hands-on training, and a collaborative work environment where teachers are encouraged to grow and share ideas. We are seeking someone with a positive attitude, strong communication skills, a passion for working with students, and the ability to lead interactive classes.
The position offers a set curriculum, Korean co-teacher support, a team-teaching environment, and a maximum of 6 students per class. The schedule is Monday to Friday with most Wednesdays off, and office hours from 2:00 PM to 9:15 PM. The teaching load is 24 hours per week, with a contract length of 1 year starting in August. Applicants should hold a bachelor's degree or higher, be native English speakers, have at least 1 year of teaching experience, and be eligible for an E-2 or F visa.
The salary ranges from 2.5 to 3.0 million KRW per month based on experience and includes national health insurance, pension, and benefits as per the Korean Labor Standards Act. Paid vacation time is provided, including most national holidays, a week of summer vacation, and a week of winter vacation.
