We are excited to introduce our new English academy in Jangji-dong, Songpa-gu, Seoul! Currently, we are in need of dedicated and qualified native English teachers to join our team and contribute to creating a supportive and motivating learning atmosphere for young students.
1. Position Details
- Position: Native English Teacher
- Location: Jangji-dong, Songpa-gu, Seoul, South Korea
- Start Date: ASAP (or negotiable according to school opening)
- Student Age Group: Kindergarten (Korean ages 5–7) & Lower Elementary (Grades 1–2)
- Current Faculty: 2 native teachers present, looking to expand
2. Qualifications
To be eligible, candidates should possess:
- E-2 (Conversational English Teaching Visa), F-4 (Overseas Korean), F-6 (Marriage to Korean National), or F-2 (Long-Term Resident Visa under specific academy employment conditions)
- Preferred Nationalities: USA, Canada, UK, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa
- A Bachelor’s degree is required, with a preference for Education majors and experienced early childhood/elementary educators
3. Working Conditions
- Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:20 AM – 6:00 PM (flexible)
- Salary: Starting at 2.7M KRW/month and above, depending on experience
- Housing Allowance: 500,000 KRW/month in addition to salary
- Overtime Pay: Calculated at 1.5x the standard hourly rate based on monthly salary
4. Benefits
- Paid Vacation: 15 working days yearly (for a full 12-month contract)
- Sick Leave: As per Korean labor regulations
- Severance Pay: One month’s salary after completing a 1-year contract
