We are seeking a passionate ESL English teacher to join our friendly and creative team at ideA English in Neihu, Taipei. This position is set to commence in August 2026. We are looking for a dedicated educator who loves working with children and is interested in a long-term opportunity in Taiwan. This role is ideal for teachers currently in Taipei whose contracts are ending around the summer of 2026, and who are looking for a more stable and advanced position in a reputable ESL institute.
Position Details:
- Start Date: August 2026
- Location: Neihu District, Taipei
- Salary: NT$900–1,200 per hour, based on experience
- Contract: Minimum of 2 years
- Hours: At least 18 teaching hours per week, with an additional requirement to arrive 20 minutes before class for preparation
- Camps: Approximately 3 weeks per year (Winter and Summer, ~30 hours per week)
Mandatory Requirements:
As a registered ESL-focused English language institute with the Ministry of Education (MOE), we adhere strictly to MOE teacher qualification regulations. Applicants must meet the following criteria:
1. Nationality: Hold a passport from the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Ireland, or South Africa.
2. Education: Bachelor's degree or higher (a relevant major is preferred).
3. Experience: At least 2 years of practical English teaching experience is preferred.
