Since opening the school in 2004, we have become a recognised institution in Merida. The commitment we have for preparing students to succeed in Cambridge qualifications is something we take great pride in. In addition, being the only Cambridge Authorised centre in Yucatan enables us to support our teacher’s career progression and development.
Salary and benefits
Why work for us?
We offer a minimum 10-month academic year contract with a competitive local salary. This includes shared housing and amenities in exchange for 20 teaching hours per week plus 2 weekly paid and supported planning hours. In addition, you continue to be paid during your Christmas and Easter holidays as well as bank holidays.
Our teacher’s wellbeing is very important to us, so mornings are left free for you to explore the city, plan classes, or just relax by the pool which comes with your comfortably furnished air-conditioned home. Additionally, if you are looking for morning work, extra classes are often available.
If you are unsure about how to begin working in Mexico, don’t worry, not only do we provide support in obtaining your work visa, but the cost of your visa is returned upon the completion of your contract.

Please mention that you found the job on Teast for the school's reference.
📌 Please review the requirements to teach English in Mexico before you start applying for teaching positions. If the job post specifies "NES" or "Native English Speaker", it typically means applicants are required to be from one of the following countries: United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, or South Africa. However, in some cases, this may indicate a preference rather than a strict requirement.
⏳ Due to the high number of applications the schools receive they may not be able to respond to every application. If you don't hear back from them within a week or so, it's best to move on to the next job.
⚠️ When applying for jobs, you should NEVER have to pay to apply. You should also NEVER have to pay to buy anything which they then pay you back for later. NEVER PAY FOR ANYTHING! Also always verify you're actually talking to the company in the job post and not an imposter. Scams in TEFL are rampant, be careful!
