Are you a passionate educator seeking a new opportunity in Jinju? Look no further! COLAT, an independent education platform in Jinju, is currently hiring a Language Arts Teacher for their Leap Innovation International Program (LIIP).

LIIP focuses on developing students' collaboration, citizenship, and creativity. The philosophy at LIIP emphasizes the role of teachers as demonstrators, facilitators, and delegators. In this role, teachers guide students through activities, provide feedback on group learning experiences, and promote best practices and good character.

Position Details:

- One (1) language arts teacher position available

- Salary: 2.4 - 2.8 million won (based on factors like previous experience, education degrees, and teaching license)

- Working hours: Monday to Friday, 9:30 am to 6:30 pm

- Maximum 30 class hours per week, with a maximum of 6 class hours per day

- Maximum 12 students per class; classes are 40 or 50 minutes long

- 25 classes per week, including recess duty

- Additional perks include free housing, severance pay, national pension, health insurance, overtime pay, and more

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree with an apostille

- Criminal background check (CBC) with an apostille

- Teaching experience and classroom management skills

- Strong sense of collaboration, citizenship, and creativity

- Good communication and writing skills, along with a growth mindset

COLAT's teachers are a diverse group aged between 25 and 52, with over 50% being female. The school is well-equipped with facilities like computer labs, science labs, libraries, and a gym.
