Job Summary:
We are seeking a passionate, creative, and experienced IB PYP Teacher to join our dynamic international school community. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality, inquiry-based instruction to primary students in alignment with the IB PYP philosophy and framework.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging units of inquiry that align with IB PYP standards and school curriculum frameworks.
Create a stimulating and inclusive classroom environment that promotes international-mindedness, inquiry, and student agency.
Use a variety of teaching and assessment strategies to meet students' diverse needs and ensure meaningful learning experiences.
Collaborate with grade-level and specialist teachers to support interdisciplinary planning and consistent pedagogical approaches.
Regularly assess and document student learning and progress; provide timely and constructive feedback to students and parents.
Participate in professional development sessions and contribute to ongoing curriculum review and development.
Establish positive relationships with students, parents, and the wider school community.
Maintain open communication with parents regarding student performance and well-being.
Uphold the school’s mission, vision, and core values.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field (Master’s preferred).
Valid teaching certification/license.
Minimum 2 years of experience teaching at the primary level; IB PYP experience is a plus
Strong understanding of the IB PYP framework and inquiry-based teaching methods.
Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Commitment to continuous professional development and reflective teaching practices.
Experience in an international or multicultural school environment is an asset.
