Institute of Language, Art and Culture at Suan Dusit University is seeking a Native English-Speaking Instructor to join our team.
Salary and Incentives:
- Base salary of 30,000 baht per month and negotiable based on experience and qualifications.
Working Hours:
- Monday to Friday, from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM.
Location:
- Institute of Language, Art and Culture, Suan Dusit University, Bangkok.
Required Qualifications:
1. Native speaker of English from a country where English is the primary language.
2. Bachelor's degree or higher in TESOL, Applied Linguistics, Linguistics, English Language Teaching, English, Education, or a related field.
3. A minimum of 1–2 years of English teaching experience; university-level experience is preferred.
4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Master’s degree or certification in TESOL, Applied Linguistics, English Education, or a related field.
2. Experience in teaching English for Academic Purposes (EAP), English for Specific Purposes (ESP), TOEIC, IELTS, or other standardized test-preparation courses.
3. Experience in organizing language-related activities, workshops, or international programs.
4. Basic knowledge of Thai language and culture.
Job Responsibilities:
1. Teach undergraduate and/or graduate English courses such as General English, Academic English, Business English, Presentation Skills, TOEIC/IELTS preparation, and English communication skills.
2. Develop teaching materials and online learning resources.
3. Organize English camps, workshops, language clubs, and other extracurricular activities.
4. Provide proofreading and editing services.
5. Support and participate in university events and activities, including those outside Bangkok or outside normal working hours, including weekends.
Benefits:
- Sick leave: Up to 60 days per year, with up to 30 days paid.
- Maternity leave: Up to 98 days per childbirth, with up to 45 days paid.
- Personal leave: Up to 45 days per year, with up to 45 days paid.
- Incentives and per diem for participating in designated university events and activities outside Bangkok or beyond normal working hours, including weekends.
