St. Joseph Mueang-Ake School in Pathum Thani is seeking Native English-Speaking Homeroom Teachers for our Kindergarten and Global Programs. These positions are available for immediate start or from May 5th. The roles involve direct employment with the school, focusing on Kindergarten levels K1–K3 and Grade 1 (Primary).
Our programs aim to immerse young learners in native English to enhance their pronunciation, listening skills, and confidence through regular interaction.
Eligibility:
- Native English speakers are required (female candidates are preferred).
- Applicants must possess a passport from the USA, UK, Ireland, Canada, Australia, or New Zealand. Applications not meeting these criteria will not be considered.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Base Salary: 46,000 THB for Kindergarten, 43,000 THB for Global Primary 1-6
- A refundable security deposit is deducted during the 90-day probation period.
- A 12-month contract with payment for all months.
- Employment Continuity Bonus: 1,250 THB/month, accumulated and paid at contract completion.
- End-of-Contract Bonus ranging from 10,000 to 40,000 THB, based on service and performance.
- The work permit is fully covered by the school.
- Annual Salary Increase: Guaranteed 2-3%, performance-based.
- Paid School Breaks: 14-30 days in April, 2 weeks in October, approximately 9 days at Christmas. All Thai public holidays are paid.
- Health and accident insurance provided after probation.
- Housing assistance near a university area and airport pickup are available for teachers coming directly from abroad.
Position Details:
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 07:15 to 16:15.
- Teaching Load: 13–18 periods per week, with a maximum of 20 periods.
- Homeroom-based, co-teaching with a Thai teacher.
- Opportunities to teach extra classes for additional income.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the homeroom teacher for a Kindergarten class.
- Teach core subjects in English.
- Collaborate with a Thai co-teacher.
- Maintain a safe and nurturing classroom environment.
- Support students' routines, behavior, and emotional development.
- Participate in meetings and school activities.
Qualifications:
- Female Native English Speaker preferred.
- Experience in Kindergarten teaching and teaching multiple subjects in English.
- Bachelor’s degree in any field.
- TEFL, TESOL, CELTA, PGCE, PGCEi, or an equivalent recognized teaching qualification.
- Patient, caring, and professional demeanor.
Additional Information:
- 60-90 day probation period.
- Participation in up to 5 school events per year, which may include weekends.
- Visa and work permit support are provided.
