Job Description:

Meritton British International School in Chiang Mai is looking for an experienced and qualified Pre-Nursery Homeroom Teacher to join our Early Years team starting in August 2026. The role involves creating a nurturing and engaging learning environment to support each child's social, emotional, physical, and early cognitive development through Values-based Education (VbE) and Enquiry-based Learning. We follow the UK Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum for our Early Years section, while our Primary and Secondary Schools use the Cambridge International Curriculum.

Qualifications and Experience Required:
- An undergraduate degree in Education or a bachelor's degree with an internationally recognized postgraduate teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE with QTS).
- At least 3 years of teaching experience in Early Years, preferably with Pre-Nursery or Nursery.
- Strong understanding of the EYFS framework and child-centered, play-based learning.
- Experience in supporting early language development and familiarity with early phonics programs such as Jolly Phonics is advantageous.
- Native English speaker or fluent English speaker with excellent communication skills.
- A clear commitment to Values-based Education and Enquiry-based Learning.
