(Teachers already in Japan preferred)
Job details:
Professional educators with a sincere love for teaching who are passionate about instructing preschoolers and kindergarteners through a variety of play-based techniques and who support the expansion and improvement of the school.
Starting Date:
JUNE 20th - JULY 20th - SEPTEMBER 21tst & OCTOBER 5th (2026)
(1-2 year contracts)
Location:
NIIGATA, GUNMA, & TOCHIGI (JAPAN)
Employment Status:
Full-time Preschool English Teachers
Salary:
¥220,000 to 240,000 yen (per month before taxes) based on experience and teaching license.
Qualifications & Responsibilities:
1. Solid understanding of how to teach preschool and kindergarten children.
2. Bachelor’s degree or higher in education or related fields.
3. Teaching license/certificate preferred.
4. Prior classroom experience in teaching in a preschool or kindergarten setting.
5. Solid understanding of ECE teaching methodologies.
6. Design and implement engaging and age-appropriate play-based English lessons fostering curiosity and interest in the students.
7. Work collaboratively with other teachers in planning and delivering excellent English lessons.
8. Lead or assist in leading a homeroom class and other school responsibilities.
9. Attend all teachers’ meetings.
10. Strong creativity in arts and crafts, and the energy to actively engage and play with the children.

a. Cover letter indicating interest, motivation and educational philosophy
b. Curriculum Vitae or resume with a passport-sized photo attached. A copy of graduation certificate(s) showing degree(s) awarded
d. A copy of the teaching license or TEFL Certifications.
