Job Description:

DSIL is looking for dynamic, flexible, and passionate teachers to join our English Team at our non-profit school. We are currently seeking a Primary School teacher to facilitate early Primary (G1–3) English classes and support the expansion of our English and international programming.

Our school, located on the KMUTT campus, is founded on the education philosophy of Constructionism. Our long-standing relationships with MIT and Stanford University provide us with access to learning frameworks such as the FabLearn Lab and the Compassionate Systems approach, as well as international opportunities for both students and faculty. We believe deeply in hands-on learning, curiosity, and helping children grow into self-directed, lifelong learners.

Applicants should have a bachelor’s degree, complete command of the English language (NES or NNES with proof of proficiency), international experience, compassion for children, and an open-minded willingness to learn and try new things. Previous experience in education is helpful but not required; experience with alternative or progressive education models is a strong advantage.

In the Primary School, English learning is divided into Project English and Core English. Teachers may also lead and contribute to school-wide activities such as clubs, sports, field trips, English classes for our Thai colleagues, term break camps, cultural immersion experiences, and community events. The role requires flexibility, patience, and a genuine passion for mentoring young learners.

Are you the bright, creative, flexible, and outgoing teacher we're looking for?

Other details about the role:
Visa and Work Permit provided
Health and Accident Insurance included
Working Hours:
7:30–4:30 during the term
9:00–4:00 during student breaks
1–3 excursions per term
Annual staff trip
Plenty of time for planning, grading, and professional development
Student–teacher ratio of 5:1
Lunch provided during semester

If this sounds like the opportunity for you, please apply!

Applications can be submitted through Teast or by emailing your CV, passport photo, and a brief introduction to hr@dsil.ac.th

📌 Please review the requirements to teach English in Thailand before you start applying for teaching positions. If the job post specifies "NES" or "Native English Speaker", it typically means applicants are required to be from one of the following countries: United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, or South Africa. However, in some cases, this may indicate a preference rather than a strict requirement.

⏳ Due to the high number of applications the schools receive they may not be able to respond to every application. If you don't hear back from them within a week or so, it's best to move on to the next job.

⚠️ Watch out for agencies that charge fees or take a cut of your salary. Good agencies get paid by the schools - not by taking money from you. If you’re not sure how they make money, just ask. If they say they take a percentage, that’s a red flag - avoid them and let us know so we can ban them from the site. Unlike other job boards that allow these kinds of agencies to advertise at your expense, we don’t - we’ve already banned several to stop teachers from being underpaid or exploited.

⚠️ When applying for jobs, you should NEVER have to pay to apply. You should also NEVER have to pay to buy anything which they then pay you back for later. NEVER PAY FOR ANYTHING! Also always verify you're actually talking to the company in the job post and not an imposter. Scams in TEFL are rampant, be careful!
