University of Seoul in Korea is looking to fill Visiting Professor and Part-Time Lecturer positions for the upcoming academic year.
If you are a native English speaker with a master's degree or higher in English Education, Literature, or Linguistics, have a minimum of three years of university teaching experience, and are interested in teaching at the University of Seoul, this opportunity might be for you.
The recruitment process includes a document review and interview, with a deadline of August 12th, 2025. Successful candidates will be notified via email for an interview.
Application documents must be submitted by August 2, 2025, 5 p.m. KST to genglish@uos.ac.kr. Required documents include a CV, diplomas and transcripts, employment certificates, reference letters, a cover letter, and a teaching plan, all in PDF format.
The Visiting Professor position is non-tenure track, renewed annually, with a contract period from September 1, 2025, to August 31, 2026. Teaching subjects include College English Speaking, Academic Writing, and more, with a monthly salary of 3,400,000 KRW.
The Part-Time Lecturer position offers flexible teaching opportunities in College English Speaking courses and a Global Foreign Language Education Center program.
