Position Summary
Are you an enthusiastic and outdoorsy individual? iGuideKorea is looking for Adventure Camp Counselors to join our team for North American-style sleep-away summer camps in South Korea! As a Camp Counselor, you will lead campers through various activities like rock climbing, swimming, surfing, arts & crafts, and more. Your role will involve organizing themed camps, ensuring a safe environment, and providing a fun experience for campers aged 7 to 17.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Engage campers in interactive activities including arts and crafts, sports, games, and field trips while prioritizing safety
- Assist with academic lessons in physics, earth sciences, and literature
- Lead a group of up to 6 campers with a positive and outgoing attitude
- Maintain cleanliness and order at the campsite for safety and efficiency
- Demonstrate professionalism, courtesy, and cooperation to both campers and staff
Position Requirements
- F and H visas
- 1-2 years of leadership experience in summer camps, outdoor education, or youth-focused programs
- Experience working with children and teenagers
- First Aid certification
- Ability to tolerate loud noises and stand for extended periods
- Completion of iGuideKorea Summer Camp Counselor training before the camp dates
Dates
- Camp 1: July 7 to 11
- Camp 2: July 14 to 18
Compensation
- 1,000,000won per camp
- Accommodations and meals provided during camp
