Start date is mid to late August 2026. We have been here since 2018. We have two schools now. One in Jiujiang and one in Nanchang, Jiangxi.
It is an excellent job. A stress-free environment without Chinese intrusion. You will work with me and a few other foreign teachers. 15,000RMB, take home per month. You will have extra classes with overtime, so salary is usually 18K month.
Maximum class size of 8. Prepared lessons. No interference, I am here to assist. I will give the curriculum and you deliver it. You will teach English, Lego, and National Geographic classes. I prefer experienced teachers that can work with 4-12 year-olds.
2 days off during the weekdays. 20 classes (each class is 40 minutes). I pay overtime after that. You will have 12 classes during the week and 12-16 on the weekend. I pay your taxes and provide housing. Typical benefits as other schools, including a two-bedroom single apartment, health insurance, work visa, assistance for a bank account, etc.
Monday to Friday we start classes at 5:50 pm and close at 8:30 pm. Sat/Sun from 8:30 am to 8:30 pm. No office hours and or lesson preparation needed. There are times, camps for instance, where some extra hours are required to assist in preparation. You are fully paid overtime for camp classes though. Be at the school 15 minutes prior to your classes.
I have been teaching for a long time and set this school up with the idea of how a teacher should be treated. Chat with me. You can make your decision then. The work environment is fantastic. Lots of free-time. Paid well. You can save a lot.
We are closed for all national holidays, they are paid. Our longer holidays for travel are Spring Festival, about 2 weeks in the winter is unpaid and we close in August, which is an unpaid holiday, for 25+ days.
As for unpaid holidays, do not stress. We run the camps in the mornings a few weeks prior to the start of each holiday. Which means for all the unpaid holidays you actually get more than half your salary.
My teachers have worked here from two to seven years. Everyone is happy, treated fairly, and trusted for their skills. We can discuss salary and more to your liking. I only hire teachers from Canada, U.S.A, U.K., Australia, New Zealand, and South Africa. Sorry, I will only reply to teachers from these countries.
