Certified Art/English Instructor Wanted at Ivy Collegiate Academy
Ivy Collegiate Academy is seeking a Certified Art/English Instructor who is a holder of a Taiwan Resident ID permit or has been educated in an English-speaking country with English as their first language.
The job responsibilities include:
- Conducting 50-minute classes
- Salary will be commensurate with the teacher's abilities and years of experience
- Providing work permit and health/labor insurance
In addition to the above, there is an opportunity for the instructor to take on the role of a Dorm Parent on a rotational basis. Dorm Parents are expected to be on duty from 8:30 Saturday morning until 8:30 Monday morning during weekends.
Ivy Collegiate Academy is a coeducational college preparatory day and boarding school that caters to students in grades 7-12. The academy is designed following the model of some of the top boarding schools in the United States and Canada.
Situated in the suburbs of Taichung, Taiwan, the campus features European-style buildings of various shapes, colors, and styles that are visually appealing and harmoniously arranged. The classrooms are well-lit and conducive to learning.
Facilities on campus include three science labs, a computer lab, a gymnasium, an indoor swimming pool, art, music, and dance studios. Outdoor amenities comprise a 200-meter track, 4 basketball courts, a tennis court, a volleyball court, and a soccer field. Additionally, a second soccer field is currently under construction.
