Hanyang University Intercollege in Seoul, South Korea, is looking for a Chemistry Course Developer to contribute to an innovative Chemistry curriculum for first-year students. This 3-month project-based role requires proficiency in English and a Master’s or PhD in Chemistry or Science Education.
About the Role:
Join a team to design engaging Chemistry lecture materials for university students, incorporating real-world themes and active learning strategies. The emphasis is on connecting core Chemistry topics with interdisciplinary concepts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design Chemistry lecture materials
- Introduce core Chemistry topics in engaging formats
- Include interdisciplinary themes for real-world application
- Apply action learning strategies
- Ensure content is suitable for students with diverse backgrounds
- Participate in team meetings for content coordination
Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s or PhD in Chemistry or Science Education
- Experience in delivering undergraduate-level Chemistry lectures
- Understanding of interdisciplinary teaching approaches
- Strong collaborative and communication skills
- Proficiency in English; bilingual ability preferred
Working Terms & Payment:
- Type: Project-based, part-time
- Duration: 3 months initially
- Payment: Based on experience and contribution level
- Mostly remote work with some in-person collaboration
