Responsibilities:
1. Curriculum and Teaching:
- Design and deliver high-quality, inclusive Chemistry lessons that align with the British National Curriculum and standards set by relevant examination boards and the Ministry of Education.
- Implement differentiated instruction strategies to meet the diverse needs of students.
2. Assessment and Support:
- Prepare students for external examinations with comprehensive test preparation frameworks.
- Offer targeted academic interventions and utilize robust assessment practices to track and improve student performance.
3. Pastoral Care:
- Lead pupil well-being programs and ensure a safe, supportive environment in line with the school’s safeguarding policies.
- Collaborate with the pastoral team to address students' academic and emotional needs.
4. Enrichment Activities:
- Develop and lead educational projects, clubs, and trips that enhance real-world learning.
- Communicate effectively with parents and contribute to school-wide events and initiatives.
5. Professional Development:
- Engage in continuous professional development to refine teaching skills and subject expertise.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Education, Chemistry, or a related field. Applicants with other degrees and significant teaching experience are welcome.
- Experience teaching secondary school students.
- Proficient in curriculum development and classroom delivery.
- Strong cross-cultural awareness and ability to create an inclusive learning environment.
