Job Description:

Bangkok Christian College EIP in Bangkok is looking for an enthusiastic Chemistry Teacher to join our supportive and collaborative team. The successful candidate will be teaching students in Grades 10 to 12, with a start date of August 1st.

Compensation details include a fixed salary ranging from 73,000 to 75,000 Baht per month. There is a completion bonus of 40,000 Baht, calculated on a pro-rata basis according to your joining date. Additionally, there is an annual salary increment of up to 3,000 Baht per month. The contract is for 12 months, including at least 8 weeks of paid holiday and all Thai public holidays. Other benefits include medical insurance, work permits, and visa extensions, opportunities for extra classes, 7 paid sick days, and free lunch on campus.

The position requires 16 teaching hours per week, which equals 24 forty-minute periods, from Monday to Friday, 7:30 am to 4:00 pm, with a 3:15 pm finish on Fridays. Attendance at two Saturday morning events per year is also required.

Applicants must be native English speakers from the USA, Canada, UK, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, or South Africa and hold a bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant subject area. Teaching credentials such as an MEd, PGCE, or PGCEi are strongly encouraged. A minimum of two years of high school teaching experience, preferably in Thailand, is required. Candidates must already be residing in Thailand and be available from August 1st. They must also be able to provide original diplomas, certificates, passport, and transcripts.
