Job Description:

Anglo Singapore International School in Bangkok is looking for a dedicated and knowledgeable A Level Computer Science Teacher to join our Secondary team at the Sukhumvit 64 campus. The position is set to start in January 2027.

The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in teaching Cambridge International AS & A Level Computer Science (9618) and be skilled in developing students' computational thinking, programming, problem-solving, and analytical skills. The role requires teaching both theoretical and practical aspects of Computer Science, focusing on areas such as algorithms, programming, data structures, computer systems, databases, networking, and emerging technologies like artificial intelligence.

Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver high-quality lessons for Cambridge International AS & A Level Computer Science (9618).
- Prepare students for both theoretical and practical components of the Cambridge AS & A Level examinations.
- Enhance students' programming skills through various programming languages and practical activities.
- Support curriculum planning and ensure smooth progression from IGCSE to A Level.
- Introduce relevant emerging technologies that align with the curriculum.
- Contribute to co-curricular activities such as coding, robotics, and STEM clubs.
- Maintain a disciplined and challenging classroom environment and encourage independent learning.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues about academic progress.

Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field.
- Recognised teaching qualification (QTS, PGCE, or equivalent) is advantageous.
- Minimum of 3 years of teaching experience in Computer Science, particularly at the A Level.
- Strong understanding of the Cambridge syllabus and examination preparation.
- Proficient in programming, algorithms, data structures, and computational theory.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
