Saint Joseph Mueang-Ake School in Pathum Thani is seeking a Drama & Conversation Teacher for our Higher Primary and Secondary programs, to start immediately or within this month. This is a direct-hire, full-time position.
**Eligibility Requirements:**
- Native English speakers are preferred; however, non-native speakers with excellent English proficiency are also encouraged to apply.
- A Bachelor's degree in any field is required.
- Teaching experience with Primary or Secondary students is highly advantageous.
**Salary & Financial Benefits:**
- For Native English Speakers (NES): Base salary of 48,000 THB per month, depending on qualifications and experience.
- For Non-Native English Speakers (NNES): Base salary ranges from 25,000 to 30,000 THB per month, depending on qualifications and experience.
- A small, refundable security deposit is deducted during the 90-day probation period.
- This is a 12-month contract position, paid for all months.
- Support for obtaining a work permit is provided.
- Annual salary increase.
- Paid school breaks: 14 days in April and approximately 9 days during Christmas, plus all Thai public holidays.
- Health insurance is offered after one full year of employment.
- Morning and evening shuttles are available at specific locations.
**Position Details:**
- Teaching Levels: Higher Primary and Secondary
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 07:15 to 17:00
- Teaching Load: Normal teaching load is 16-20 periods per week, with a maximum of 24 periods per week.
**Required Qualifications:**
- Strong spoken and written English skills.
- Bachelor's degree.
- Experience teaching English, Drama, Debate, Public Speaking, or related subjects is preferred.
- TEFL, TESOL, CELTA, PGCE, Drama, Performing Arts, Education, or related qualifications are a plus.
- Ability to motivate and engage upper primary and secondary students.
- Professional, creative, and enthusiastic teaching approach.
**Additional Notes:**
- 60 to 90-day probation period.
- Participation in up to 5 school events per year, which may include weekends.
- Visa and work permit support provided, with details explained during hiring.
