Job Description:

Chiang Rai International School (CRIS) is currently looking for a dedicated and qualified Elementary Music Teacher to become part of our educational community in Chiang Rai. The ideal candidate will foster a passion for music in students while supporting their academic, social, and creative growth in our international school environment.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Music, Music Education, or a related field
- Teaching certification or license is preferred
- Experience teaching music at the elementary level
- Understanding of child development and age-appropriate teaching methods
- Ability to teach basic music theory, vocal music, rhythm, movement, and introductory instrumental skills
- Strong classroom management and organizational abilities
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Experience in an international school is a plus

Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver engaging, age-appropriate music lessons in line with school curriculum standards
- Teach basic music skills such as rhythm, pitch, singing, movement, and music theory
- Prepare students for school performances, assemblies, and special events
- Evaluate and record student progress, providing constructive feedback
- Create a positive, inclusive, and safe classroom environment
- Work collaboratively with classroom teachers and school leadership to promote interdisciplinary learning
- Maintain lesson plans, assessments, and necessary documentation
- Communicate with parents about student progress when needed
- Participate in school events, professional development, and staff meetings
