I Can Read, an established learning organization with over 20 years of experience, is looking for qualified English teachers to join our team in Thailand. We have a strong focus on teaching English literacy skills and EFL content to students aged 3-12 in small classes.
We are currently seeking native English speakers from Australia, New Zealand, United Kingdom, United States, Canada, Ireland, and South Africa. Applicants must hold a bachelor's degree or higher, possess a TEFL/TESOL/CELTA certificate (minimum 120 hours), have experience working with children, and have a clear speech with a universally understandable accent, crucial for teaching phonology.
Successful candidates will teach phonological skills, reading, writing, speaking, and listening using the I Can Read System in classes with a maximum of 10 students. Training, lesson plans, and materials are provided.
Position Details:
- Part-time position with weekend shifts (Sat/Sun), typically one day only, between 9:00 - 18:00.
- Classes may range from 4 to 7 hours per day. Weekday cover work might be available in the afternoons.
- 24-month contract with a competitive hourly rate starting at THB 600, with adjustments based on nationality, experience, and qualifications.
- Additional incentives such as a class completion bonus, training bonus, and more.
- Applicants must be willing to relocate to Bangkok and complete a training program before starting.
We have part-time positions available in various locations in Bangkok and other provinces. Additional locations may open up as needed. Interested candidates should specify their preferred work location, availability, and visa status in their application.
