Job Description:

Montessori Academy Bangkok International School (MABIS) is looking for a dedicated and experienced Montessori-trained Chinese Language Educator to lead our Chinese Language Department. As the Head of the Chinese Language Department, you will be responsible for providing academic leadership, mentoring and supervising the teaching team, and delivering engaging and culturally rich Chinese language instruction to students of various levels.

Start Date: Spring or August 2026

Qualifications & Requirements:
- Montessori diploma for ages 3-6 or 6-12 (AMI, AMS, or MACTE)
- A minimum of 10 years of teaching experience, including experience in international schools and leadership roles within a Chinese Language Department or Program
- A valid Teaching License from China or Taiwan
- Putonghua Proficiency Test (PSC) Level 2-A or higher
- Expertise in one or more of the following areas is highly desirable: Chinese History, Chinese Classics/Philosophy, Traditional Chinese Medicine, Drama, Dance, Music, Art, or Martial Arts
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- A warm, professional demeanor with strong interpersonal and leadership skills
- Creativity, adaptability, and the ability to thrive in a multicultural environment

Preferred Nationality: China or Taiwan
