Job Description:

Learn Satit Pattana School is seeking a Head of Teacher (Foreign Teacher) for our secondary level (Grades 7-12) program located in Bangkok, Thailand. We are a progressive institution dedicated to academic excellence and holistic development. Position Overview:
We are looking for an experienced and passionate Head of Teacher to lead our academic team. The ideal candidate should have strong subject expertise, excellent communication skills, and a dedication to student success. You will inspire students, contribute to the school community, and engage in ongoing professional development.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead and manage the department to ensure students have access to a broad and balanced curriculum and achieve high standards.
2. Oversee financial and physical resources and effectively deploy teaching and support staff.
3. Line-manage Heads of Subject to ensure successful outcomes across subjects.
4. Promote excellence and innovation in teaching and learning, ensuring differentiated teaching to support all students.
5. Maintain up-to-date curricula and ensure effective assessment and reporting procedures.
6. Communicate with parents and manage Google Classroom for your subjects.
7. Create a shared vision within the department, reflecting the school's core values.
8. Recruit, develop, and appraise staff to maintain high standards and tackle underperformance.
9. Conduct annual performance reviews and promote excellence within the department.

Training and Development:
- Cultivate a culture of high expectations and continuous professional development within the department.
- Identify and meet training needs, share best practices, and ensure effective induction for new staff.

Qualifications:
- Master's or Bachelor's Degree in Education or related fields.
- Qualified Teacher Status.
- At least 2-3 years of experience as a Subject Head in a secondary school.
- Minimum of 3 years of direct teaching experience in government, private, or international schools.
- Knowledge of current educational practices and safeguarding procedures.
- IT literate, especially in using Google Classroom.
