Mataneedol International School in Khon Kaen is looking for enthusiastic Native English-speaking teachers to join our team as High School IGCSE Chemistry, Biology, or Mathematics teachers. This full-time position will commence in May 2026, at the start of the next semester.
Our school offers a positive, multicultural environment where you will work alongside experienced foreign and Thai teachers. The teaching load is approximately 18 lessons per week, covering the Oxford IGCSE Curriculum.
For Biology, topics include cell structure, photosynthesis, ecology, inheritance, and homeostasis. The Chemistry curriculum covers atomic structure, bonding, chemical reactions, and organic chemistry. Mathematics topics include arithmetic, algebra, geometry, trigonometry, and statistics.
Candidates must be Native English speakers from the UK, USA, Canada, Australia, or New Zealand. A minimum 4-year university degree in a relevant subject and a TEFL certificate are required. At least one year of teaching experience is necessary. Candidates should be enthusiastic, patient, professional, and possess strong communication and teamwork skills.
Responsibilities include attending daily morning assembly, participating in school events, preparing assessments, organizing an annual science project, maintaining classroom displays, providing class cover when needed, and preparing weekly lesson plans. Working hours are Monday to Friday, 07:45–16:00.
Benefits include a starting monthly salary of at least 30,000 THB with up to a 5% annual increase, optional paid after-school classes, professional development support, assistance with visa and work permit, generous paid holidays, free school lunch, and transport assistance if required.
